Thursday 20th - Tuesday 25th September

Due to technical issues on our network it is necessary to redeploy some vessels. This is to ensure that we can continue to serve our communities. As a result, the following amended timetable will operate:

Monday 24th September

The following amended timetable will be operated by MV Finlaggan:

07:00hrs Kennacraig to Port Ellen
09:45hrs Port Ellen to Kennacraig
13:00hrs Kennacraig to Port Askaig
15:30hrs Port Askaig to Kennacraig
18:00hrs Kennacraig to Port Askaig
20:15hrs Port Askaig to Kennacraig (Delayed 18:00hrs)

Tuesday 25th September

The following amended timetable will be operated by MV Finlaggan:

07:00hrs Kennacraig to Port Ellen
09:45 hrs Port Ellen to Kennacraig
13:00 hrs Kennacraig to Port Askaig
15:30 hrs Port Askaig to Kennacraig
18:00 hrs Kennacraig to Port Askaig
20:15 hrs Port Askaig to Kennacraig

The following sailings will be operated by MV Hebridean Isles:

12:45 hrs Port Ellen to Kennacraig
15:30 hrs Kennacraig to Port Ellen

We are conscious that the amended timetable may impact some of our communities, however, we have considered a wide range of options before arriving at this amended timetable.

Supplementary information

Wednesday and Saturday Service

Please be advised due to the vessel being unable to wait if the bus is running late, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the Citlylink 926, 06:35 bus service departing Glasgow, is not a connecting service for the 09:45 sailing departing Kennacraig.

Wednesday 24th October to Friday 26th October

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are proposing to carry out essential resurfacing works on a section of the A83 Trunk Road to the north of Clachan.
The works are programmed for construction from Wednesday 24th October for two nights, between the hours of 7pm and 7am each night. A road closure will be implemented during these hours.

Unfortunately there is no diversion and passage through the site will be via amnesties, allowing all waiting vehicles to pass through the site at 8PM, 10PM, 12 Midnight, 2AM and 4AM.

Emergency services will be able to pass at all times.
Outwith working hours the A83 will be reopened with a 30 mph speed limit in place due to the temporary road surface.
