INFO: Repairs to the MV Isle of Arran’s propulsion system have progressed as scheduled, however before she can return to service it will be necessary for her to undertake extensive sea trials which will have a knock-on effect on previously agreed deployment plans.

Full details are available on the website (www.calmac.co.uk) but the principle changes will be to the Islay service which will be reduced to a single vessel a day earlier than planned (from Sunday, October 21st) and to the Castlebay-Oban and Lochboisdale-Mallaig services, for which a revised timetable has been published. These services will be combined on Sunday and Monday (21st and 22nd) and, as a result, will not operate to Mallaig. As a consequence, the Mallaig/Armadale sailings being operated by MV Lord of the Isles on Sunday will be cancelled. MV Loch Fyne will continue to operate between Mallaig and Armadale.
