Monday 25th September to Wednesday 27th September

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are carrying out footpath improvement works to improve road safety and remove barriers to accessibility at the A87 / Rha Bank junction. The proposed works will remove full height kerb stones and provide dropped kerbs, transition kerbs and tactile paving. The project will be implemented using carriageway lane and pavement/footway closures as required. The works are programmed to take place from Monday 25th September 2017 to Wednesday 27th September 2017 (09:00 to 17:00). The works are anticipated to take 3 days to complete and delays to traffic minimised. Access to Rha Bank and surrounding properties will be maintained at all times. During this period the bus stop will require to be relocated (09:00 to 17:00). During this time passengers should use the bus stop located 200m east of here, outside the Old Police Station, Uig. 

Monday 13th  - Saturday 18th November

The Lochmaddy port will be closed between the 13th to the 18th of November due to linkspan repairs. Amended timetable to follow, sailings will be operating between Lochboisdale and Uig. 

This may also affect the sailings between Uig-Tarbert.
