Mallaig - Lochboisdale

One or more sailings are disrupted

Service updates

From Wednesday 23rd May

After an extended disruption due to a temporary repair needed to the MV Clansman, the normal summer timetable will resume on Wednesday, May 23.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused our customers and thank them for their patience and understanding during this period.

From Friday 1st until Tuesday 12th June

Due to essential part replacement on MV Clansman, the Mallaig to Lochboisdale service will not operate between the 1st and 12th of June 2018.

Extra sailings have been organised on the Barra to Eriskay route enabling passengers to travel to South Uist via Oban-Castlebay on the same day.

Our customer services team will be in touch with all affected customers once all amended timetables are confirmed. This process will take some time and our customer services team will be prioritising customers in order of day of travel.

We would like to thank our customers in advance for their patience whilst we work through all the affected reservations.

We will be in touch with all customers as soon as possible.

Customers requiring transport should contact the Lochboisdale or Castlebay office prior to travel

Reason: operational
