Kennacraig /Islay - 07/03/14
Due to adverse weather conditions of Westerly winds gusting up to 42 knots the 07:00hrs sailing from Kennacraig this morning (Friday 07th March 2014 ) will be diverting to Port Askaig. This will mean that the 09:45hrs sailing from Islay today will depart from Port Askaig and NOT Port Ellen.
Due to technical problems elsewhere within the Network, an amended timetable will be operating on the Kennacraig/Islay Service until further notice:
0700 from Kennacraig (NOT SUNDAY), 0945 from Port Ellen, 1300 from Kennacraig, 1530 from Port Askaig, 1800 from Kennacraig, 2015 from Port Askaig (Monday, Wednesday & Friday only) & 2030 from Port Ellen (Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday only).

BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland will be carrying out resurfacing works on the A83 between Tarbert and Kennacraig commencing Sunday 2nd March 2014 until Friday 14th March 2014. The resurfacing will take place from Sunday nights to Friday mornings, between the hours of 21:15pm and 05:00am. A convoy system will be in operation and delays are to be expected.*** The A83 road is closed at the Rest and Be Thankful due to a landslip. Delays and diversions are in place. Please allow extra time for your journey. ***
